Chinese New Year Closures Extended
China announced that the Lunar New Year holiday will be extended as a measure to better safeguard the health of the Chinese people in an attempt block the spread of the coronavirus.
The central government extended the holiday to February 2, resuming February 3 for China overall, which was originally to end January 30. Although, Shanghai, Ningbo & Guangzhou closures have been further extended until February 9, with operations resuming February 10.
As the outbreak develops, further restrictions may be imposed, affecting these dates and travel between regions. We will closely monitor the situation with our overseas network and provide you with the latest developments as they be come available.
