Blank Sailings in February

A friendly reminder that blank sailings will be prevalent for the month of February, with 1-2 sailings per week into Canada, scheduled to be cancelled throughout the month.

Carriers are using blank sailings as a way to stabilize the market during the traditional low seasonal demand post Chinese New Year. This trend is expected continue until the supply and demand balances.

For the integrity of your supply chain, we urge you to advise your suppliers to contact our origin offices and place your time sensitive bookings at least 10-14 days prior to cargo readiness.

Should we be faced with further blank sailings, planned or unexpected, we will be able to book on alternative vessels without compromising your supply chain.
