Financial Post, March 4, 2010 - Customers of Canada's largest railways have issued a damning review of the quality of service they have received in recent years: Nearly two-thirds claim to have suffered a "significant financial loss" as a result of poor rail service. The findings are part of the federal government's ongoing rail freight service review process that could potentially lead to greater regulation of the rail industry after the recommendations of a commission are tabled in Parliament in the fall.
