Press Release – OEC Group Canada Launches Freighter Service for the Month of April and Beyond

Montreal March 27, 2020 – With a record amount of cancelled flights and passenger aircraft capacity being removed from the market, OEC Group Canada is committed to contributing to doing our part in defeating the Covid-19 epidemic.
We are excited to announce that OEC Group Canada has chartered 10 MD11 freighter flights starting March 22, 2020. After two completely sold out flights, demand continues to be strong.
These freighters will service the Shanghai (PVG) to Toronto (YYZ) lane with on-forwarding of cargo from the Toronto hub to markets across Canada and the Midwest and North Eastern United States.
OEC Group Canada is committed to continue the supply chain for it’s clients and the market. Our flights will ensure cargo moving for all our clients and will also support much needed medical supplies to Canada and the North American market.
