Months-Long Brazil Customs Strike Ends

Air Canada Cargo has informed that the customs strike in Brazil that began on May 14 has now ended. Operations have returned to normal and shipments destined to, or transiting through, GRU (São Paulo) are no longer subject to delay.

NORTH American rail volume for the week ending October 27, from 12 US, Canadian and Mexican railways reporting increased three per cent to 376,943 carloads and up 5.4 per cent to 389,322 intermodal units year on year.  Read more here.
