    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    Reporting to the IT Manager, the Programmer Analyst EDI has the following main responsibilities:

    - Provide technical leadership on new and existing application initiatives related to EDI.
    - Primary support for all EDI related needs and inquiries.
    - Develop and manage all aspects of the EDI system, including new transactions as needed.
    - Analyze and code back-end systems integrations processes.
    - Identify potential EDI process efficiency improvements and implement changes.
    - Work with both internal business users and external customers.

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT PROFILE

    - University degree and minimum of three years experience with EDI systems, or DEC plus minimum 5 years experience with EDI systems.
    - Proficient in MS-SQL.
    - Familiar with web service technology.
    - Previous and proven experience documenting EDI processes.
    - Knowledge of various EDI message formats is a must (EDIFACT, Flat Files, XML, Etc.)
    - Knowledge of various EDI transmission mechanisms a must (VAN, FTP, End-to End versus Point-to-Point.)

  • AIR IMPORT SUPERVISOR

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    Reporting to the Air Import Manager, the Air Import Supervisor has the following main responsibilities:

    • Supervise air import operations and personnel: assist Air Import Manager in operation planning, organization, control, employee training and evaluations
    • Receive customers' requests and prepare sales rate quotations
    • Answer customers: logistic solutions pricing; problems or complaints resolution; inside sales; price negotiations (carriers and customers); escalate customer service issues to the manager
    • Timely resolve customer complaints, or internal operation issues and implement measures to prevent their frequency and recurrence
    • Provide assistance to improve products and services
    • Apply corporate policies and ensure compliance with established corporate procedures, among employees supervised
    • Improve on an ongoing basis internal systems processes and procedures in order to favor customer service and departmental internal efficiency

  • SENIOR PROGRAMMER ANALYST

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    Reporting to the IT Manager, the Senior Programmer Analyst will work within the IT development team while working autonomously mainly in .NET application development.

    • Develop software in the context of a project, while ensuring alignment to current and developing architecture
    • Prepare Technical Design and Specification documents
    • Create implementation instructions and supports application deployments
    • Conduct design and peer reviews including individual & team unit testing
    • Manage technical issues and the work of other developers
    • Work with the IT team to review problems, define and test solutions

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT PROFILE

    • Degree in Computer Science or other relevant discipline;
    • 3+ years of experience developing web-based, or mobile enterprise applications;
    • 3+ years developing in the .NET environment, 3.5+, Web API, and MVC, and Web Services;
    • 3+ years of experience working with SQL Server 2008 & above, ADO.NET, EF, ORM patterns;
    • 3+ years of experience in JavaScript, JQuery, and frontend frameworks such as Angular JS, Backbone, and Knockout JS;
    • 3+ years with ASP.NET deployment techniques;
    • Languages: VB.NET, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript, VBScript, HTML, XML;
    • Experience leveraging popular design methodologies, patterns and practices;
    • Strong background with the software development lifecycle, and common models (agile, iterative, waterfall, etc.) with familiarity in best software practices including source code control, requirements gathering and unit testing;
    • Solid experience with WEB front end UI design;
    • Continuous improvement and continuous learning mindset;
