MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the IT Manager, the Programmer Analyst EDI has the following main responsibilities:

- Provide technical leadership on new and existing application initiatives related to EDI.
- Primary support for all EDI related needs and inquiries.
- Develop and manage all aspects of the EDI system, including new transactions as needed.
- Analyze and code back-end systems integrations processes.
- Identify potential EDI process efficiency improvements and implement changes.
- Work with both internal business users and external customers.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT PROFILE

- University degree and minimum of three years experience with EDI systems, or DEC plus minimum 5 years experience with EDI systems.

- Knowledge of various EDI message formats is a must (EDIFACT, Flat Files, XML, Etc.)
- Knowledge of various EDI transmission mechanisms a must (VAN, FTP, End-to End versus Point-to-Point.)

  • Degree in Computer Science or other relevant discipline;
  • 3+ years of experience developing web-based, or mobile enterprise applications;
  • 3+ years developing in the .NET environment, 3.5+, Web API, and MVC, and Web Services;
  • 3+ years of experience working with SQL Server 2008 & above, ADO.NET, EF, ORM patterns;
  • 3+ years of experience in JavaScript, JQuery, and frontend frameworks such as Angular JS, Backbone, and Knockout JS;
  • 3+ years with ASP.NET deployment techniques;
  • Languages: VB.NET, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript, VBScript, HTML, XML;
